Frequently asked questions

Why is emailing a contract draft risky?
Email copies can be forwarded beyond intended recipients, exposing pricing, terms, and negotiation strategy to competitors or other counterparties.
Can I set a custom expiry on contract delivery links?
Yes. For active negotiations, 24-hour TTL prevents links from being forwarded and used days later. Set it on the creation form.
Is there an audit trail showing the contract was received?
On Team plan, audit logs confirm when the link was accessed with timestamp and IP address — useful for legal record-keeping.
What if the recipient claims they never received the contract?
Your audit log shows when the link was opened. If the link expired unread, you can see that too and resend immediately.
